Elevation

Look up heights anywhere

Terrain tiles work everywhere with no limit. The other services cap how many points you can look up per day; Google needs your key.

Points or a table

Source One coordinate per line, or a table with latitude and longitude columns

Keep elevations already in the table

Tracks in the workspace

Replace recorded elevations with terrain data. Useful for phones and watches with noisy GPS altitude.

Coordinates, distances, airports and range rings

Anywhere a place is asked for, you can type coordinates in any common format (for example 45°55′25″N 6°52′10″E, 32T 333950 5087980 or MGRS), a three- or four-letter airport code, or an address.

Google Maps Platform key

Optional. It unlocks the exact Google route for any Google Maps link, Google road, satellite and terrain backgrounds, Google elevations and Google geocoding. In the Google Cloud console, enable the Routes API, Map Tiles API, Maps JavaScript API, Elevation API and Geocoding API, then restrict the key to the website where you use Trailplot.
